SEO - Baton Rouge and more
SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is a never-ending game we Internet marketers play with search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo to have our websites shown in the top of search results. Sure, we can always pay for PPC, or Pay-Per-Click, advertising to get to the top, but SEO gives us organic results, which are FREE.
What makes SEO so hard?
Good question! Search engines are constantly changing their quite complex algorithms for how their engine's rank search results. They also do not release this information to the public! Each search engine does periodically provide information about how to improve your SEO, but never exact instructions.
Why do they make it so hard?
Very simple: Search engines are all about displaying the best and highest quality results to their users. If they released their exact methods, malicious Internet users will attempt to manipulate traffic, generally for financial gain. The general rule is that if you provide good content, SEO will not be too hard for you. Sometimes it can take a little to boost to get found initially though.
Why can Ashner Consulting successfully provide SEO when others struggle?
Firstly, SEO is never guaranteed. Beware of any person or company who claims to guarantee certain placement in search engines. Second, we are extremely fast learners and keep up with the times. We are constantly staying on top of the new updates to algorithms and making new experiments to see what works and what doesn't. We believe SEO is never a one-time deal. It may be a substantial project to get it going in the beginning, but once it's there, it is important to maintain your position and continue to update. Sometimes, you'll wake up one morning and your website that's been number 1 in placement for months suddenly drops to the 3rd page. That's why it is important to keep up with the times to work hard to limit inconveniences such as that. We're based out of Baton Rouge, but can work on sites everywhere thanks to the Internet!
